Kriss Darling joins the race for Kibra parliamentary seat
Celebrated spin master Kriss Darling who doubles up as the CEO of Dohty Family stable popular for spinning dancehall and reggae tunes has finally decided to officially join politics. He showed his interest in succeeding the late Ken Okoth for the Kibra Parliamentary seat weeks after Ken Okoth succumbed to colorectal cancer in July.
Kriss is among Kenyans who are vying for the hotly contested seat. Among others contesting is a brother to the late Okoth, Mr Imran Okoth. Others include Mr Eliud Owalo, former Embakasi South MP Irshad Sumra among others.
