Wines of South Africa Sommelier World Cup final

The Kenyan edition of the Wines of South Africa (WOSA) Sommelier World Cup finally came to an end at the Sierra Burger and Wine Restaurant at Yaya Center, Nairobi.

This is the second time that Kenya participated in the tri-annual Sommelier Cup. The competition was open to anyone working in the wine and hospitality industries within Kenya, with sommelier Samuel Ndichu bagging the coveted title. Ndichu, will join winners from Ghana, Zimbabwe, China, USA, Sweden, Netherlands and the UK  for the finals happening in Cape Town in September.

The event drew exporters of some of South Africas best wines, retailers, consumers and industry experts alongside WOSA Africa Market Manager Matome Mbatha and Communications Manager Maryna Marie Carlow, who were in Nairobi for the culmination of the competition and announcement of  the winners.
